Kyla Brandt has spent the last two years recovering from the end of her marriage to a man, who lied, cheated, and left her destitute.  Deciding to start her life over, she moved from Tulsa, Oklahoma to the Boston, Massachusetts area and found a job as a teller in a bank.

Morgan Seward lost her spouse to a motorcycle accident a year ago when he recklessly rode after consuming alcohol. On her own, she has worked to re-establish herself  as the business owner of a furniture store to maintain her independence.

Their paths collide in a chance encounter, during which both feel an immediate and intense sense of deja’vu.  The connection between them is undeniable and they yearn to understand why.  Ignoring their attraction may ultimately lead to tragedy, but pursuing it goes against all they believed about themselves and their plans for the future.
